WW - Rolex Prince Branchard doctor's watch, ref 971, circa 1938, 23mm x 42mm to lug tips, 20mm lug width, original 18K rose gold snap back case with fancy elongated lugs, brown leather strap with 14K gold Rolex signed buckle, excellently refinished silver dial with black painted numerals, polished rose gold accents and separated subsidiary seconds, 15J, s#59411, triple signed. One hell of a nice watch for the modern Rolex collector looking to get into one of Rolex's best vintage styled models that wears equally as nice today as the day it was new. Gross weight of assembled watch 20.5 dwt (32.0 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, light oxide to steelwork, light toning to plates; excellent-plus refinished dial shows very light surface spotting; fine hands show light oxide; polished case shows little wear, no dents or dings; more modern Rolex signed replacement crown shows very little wear; good plastic crystal.
